The Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba supports a minimum entry to practice education of 2200 hours of instruction or approximately two years of 'in class' and 'practical' education based on an approved curriculum.
The vast majority of the education of Massage Therapists across Canada occurs in 'Private Vocational' schools or colleges. In Manitoba three schools of Massage Therapy exist that are registered with the provincial government within their Advanced Education department.
